Good morning,
I would like to inform you that we changed the name of our gin from laGassa to neogassa for commercial reasons only: the product is the same as before, handcrafted with the same attention to detail, in other words the same gin that you already appreciate.

Opening the window in Trieste I see the sea, expansive, blue, rippled by the wind.

I feel this same wind around my shoulders, familiar and firm, carrying with it long billows scented by Mediterranean brush.

My nose is hit by sharp rosemary  and restless thyme, chased by the sweeter notes of basil and mint, in part urged on by balm-like juniper.

A stronger burst likewise summons celery seeds to the eternal dance of nature as my gaze fixes on a sea lit up by the glimmer of citrus.

This is the state of mind which gave birth to neogassa Gin.

A gin that is born exclusively from the flora of the Mediterranean, recreating in a bottle the flavours and aromas typical of this place.
Herbs that grow where water is sparse, beaten by the sun, struggling against the wind, lend a dry taste that is perfectly balanced with the joy of citrus fruit, with fresh notes that bring back the sensation of the shade as it offers shelter from the summer heat, with a final dry and gentle persistence, slightly saline, as if carried by a sea wave.

Handcraft, in small batch of 540 bottles, a gentle infusion in pure grain alcohol firstly. Then after a filtration, starts a distillation in a cooper pot still of 250 liters with a slow pace necessary to obtain a great quality spirit.
